Ansambel
Ansambel is a Slovenian design collective working in the fields of graphic design, visual communication, and research into contemporary design practices. Their work is characterised by experimentation with visual systems, typography, illustration, photography, and various approaches to identity design, often exploring the relationship between design, space, and community.
Among their notable projects is the visual identity of Center Rog in Ljubljana, for which they developed a flexible visual system reflecting the diversity of creative practices and the openness of the space. In 2024, the project received the main Brumen Award for Visual Identity. The collective also created the visual identity for the 33rd Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, Crack Up – Crack Down, for which they received a Brumen Award in 2019. Their practice expands beyond traditional understandings of graphic design, approaching it as a space for research, storytelling, and the creation of new cultural connections.
