New Models
New Models is a non-linear media channel and community founded in Berlin in 2018 by Caroline Busta and Lil Internet.
The project explores the impact of networked technologies on culture, knowledge and everyday life, while moving beyond the logic of Web 2.0 platforms built on centralized systems and social media algorithms. Its aim is to create an independent media space beyond algorithmic flows, while developing new forms of content distribution and community building.
Over the years, New Models has established an international network of members and collaborated with platforms and publications such as Highsnobiety and Artforum, while developing experimental projects at the intersection of art, technology and contemporary culture.
