François Cusset & Mladen Dolar
François Cusset is a writer, intellectual historian, and Professor of American Civilisation at the University of Paris Nanterre. His work explores contemporary political history, intellectual movements, and the impact of ideas on social change. Among his most important works are French Theory, which examines the influence of French philosophy on American cultural and academic life, and How the World Swung to the Right, an analysis of the rise of right-wing political ideologies in recent decades.
Mladen Dolar is a Slovenian philosopher, psychoanalyst, and lecturer. His research focuses on German classical philosophy, contemporary French thought, psychoanalysis, and the theory of art. He is one of the founders of the Ljubljana Lacanian School and an important figure in contemporary Slovenian philosophical thought. For many years, he was a professor at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana, where he taught philosophy, psychoanalysis, and critical theory.
