Autechre
Autechre are the legendary English electronic music duo consisting of Rob Brown and Sean Booth. Formed in 1987, the duo are one of the most prominent acts in experimental electronic music. Their music has exhibited a gradual shift in aesthetic throughout their career, from their earlier work with clear roots in techno, electro and hip hop to later albums that are often considered more experimental in nature.
Autechre live is a pitch-dark audio experience and has built huge momentum over recent years as a completely unique show consistently selling out large venues way in advance. Put simply, there is no one else doing anything like Autechre live.
Autechre will perform in total darkness.
For their set all lights in the venue will be off and the
bars will be closed if they are in the room where
Autechre perform.
Please plan on being in one place for the performance
and do not move unnecessarily until it has finished when
the lights will come back on again.
Please do not shine any lights at the stage or around the
room during the performance.
If you need to leave for any reason please use your
mobile phone to light your way.
Absolutely no recording or flash photography please.
If you are uncomfortable with the idea of spending
around one hour in the dark while Autechre play please
see venue box office staff for a refund before the
performance starts.
