
Boris Dežulović is one of the most prominent Croatian journalists, writers, and columnists. He co-founded the cult satirical weekly Feral Tribune. He has written for Globus, and today he is a regular columnist for Dnevnik, Novosti, and N1. In 2014, he received the prestigious European Press Prize for his commentary on Vukovar. Slovenian readers know him especially well for his column Slovenija, moj deželović (Slovenia, My Little Homeland), which he writes for Dnevnik, and through which he humorously yet sharply critiques the social and political realities of the region.
Aljoša Pužar is a cultural theorist, writer, and full professor of cultural studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He has also lectured at universities in Trieste, Berlin, and Rijeka. Between 2006 and 2016, he taught cultural studies, cultural anthropology, cultural geography, women’s studies, and other subjects at universities in South Korea. His published works include books on literary history, border studies, and Korean culture, as well as literary essays, translations, short stories, and poetry.
